Snow Day

Western North Carolina was greeted this morning with a light dusting of snow. As I write this, the snow continues to fall.

We have to enjoy it while we can though, because it usually does not stick around very long.

I recently read in the Farmer’s Almanac that for each foggy morning in the fall, there will be one snowy day in the winter. And we have had quite a few foggy mornings this fall!!!

Camper showings are happening weekly now. Tonight, October 28h, Matt Ragland will be representing Camp at the Hutto residence in Jacksonville, FL.

You can keep up with camper showings by going to www.rockmont.com, click on Camp News- Travel Schecule- and finally Travel Schedule for Dan and Jon.

Have a great day!!

Fall Days

The temperatures are dropping and the leaves are changing. One thing that we really enjoy here at camp is visiting with staff and campers. Recently Jeff Bowen dropped by for a visit on his way home to Durham:
The Brooks family was also able to take a trip up to the Boston area. While they were there, they tracked Jesse Thornburg down at MIT:
Be sure to let us know if you are going to be in the area!!!
